Shade grown in the mountains of El Carrizal, using organic processing methods to protect the natural habitat of migratory birds and other wildlife. Rio Olancho is a cooperative made up of over 60 plantations. As part of our Direct Trade program, this bean comes from Arturo Colindres' farm in Gualaco. Arturo is one of the original farmers who helped formed the Rio Olancho Cooperative, bringing together some of the districts finest coffees.
